Corporate Onsite Massage
Therapy
We provide onsite wellness massage or special
“event” massage.
Special “event” massage. Companies
will have us come in on specific days for either
an event they’re hosting or as a special perk
for their employees. Maybe you had a deadline or
shipment that had to be met and your employees
had to stay late for weeks…months. Give their
overworked and tired bodies a time to heal and
rejuvenate. Try massage for your next “event”,
your employees will feel appreciated and thank
you for it.
Onsite wellness massage. This is for
companies that want to have massage available to
their employees on a regular basis, i.e., once a
week, bimonthly, monthly. While, some companies
will subsidize some of the low cost of this
health care program, typically, the employee
pays for most or all of the cost. This is
usually an out of pocket expense or the employee
can use their Health Care Service Plan such as
the Flexible Spending Account, (FSA), sometimes
called a Cafeteria Plan. The only stipulation in
paying with a FSA is the massage therapy has to
be for a specific injury or to treat pain. This
does not need a doctor’s prescription. Providing
space and supporting employees to take fifteen
minutes to a half hour (during lunch) regularly
to reduce stress, decrease pain from headaches
and muscle spasm is prudent health care
planning. Both insurance companies and The Dept.
of Labor and Industries recognize the medical
benefit and effectiveness of massage therapy.
They regularly pay licensed massage therapists
for treatment of soft tissue injuries.
“Studies have consistently shown that healthy
people make healthy companies. Healthy companies
are more likely to make healthy profits and to
have healthy returns on their investments. “ *
Our therapists at Eastside provide effective,
quality care to our onsite clients. We can
provide one or more seasoned therapists to you
for events. Give Benita a call and she can give
you more information about arranging your next
event or onsite massage.
